Is the DC-A17 Right for Your Project?

Choose this chair when you need

  • An upholstered dining armchair with a visible antique brass finish.
  • A 46 cm seat height for a dining-height table layout.
  • A 60.7 cm-wide seating position where arm support and visual presence are more important than maximum seating density.
  • Separate seat and back panels that can be specified, sampled and checked as distinct components.
  • Coordinated upholstery, finish, labels and export packing for a furniture or hospitality program.

Confirm or choose another direction when

  • The table apron or base may interfere with the arms or splayed footprint.
  • Your layout needs a narrow armless chair for higher density.
  • Daily stacking is mandatory.
  • The project is permanently outdoors, coastal, poolside or exposed to rain.
  • A verified load, cycle, stability or fire result is required before selection.

Dimensions and Table Fit

The supplied drawing records 607 mm overall width, 575 mm overall depth, 740 mm overall height and 460 mm seat height. A 46 cm seat height gives an approximate 26–30 cm difference below a dining table around 72–76 cm high. This is a layout reference rather than a universal fit rule: tabletop thickness, apron depth, base position and the floor plan still need review.

The 60.7 cm product width is not the full planning allowance. Include chair pull-out distance, guest movement, service aisles and the outer points of the angled legs. Because arm height is not recorded in the supplied drawing, send the table or apron drawing when under-table clearance is critical.

Materials, Construction and Finish Decisions

Steel frame, antique brass appearance

The approved product specification identifies a steel frame. “Antique brass” describes the surface appearance; it does not mean the complete frame is solid brass. Approve a physical finish sample because digital images can shift tone, gloss and patina.

Upholstered seat and back

The product is confirmed as upholstered, but the supplied information does not lock a leather, leatherette or fabric code. The quotation should identify the exact cover, color, padding direction, seam details, cleaning instruction and batch-approval method.

Detachable-panel boundary

The supplied description states that the seat and back panels are detachable. The approved drawing and sample should confirm the fixing method, access, service requirement and any replacement-part expectation.

Plywood back component

The supplied specification lists a plywood component in the back construction. The final drawing or BOM should confirm grade, thickness, edge treatment and attachment detail. These values are not inferred from photographs.

Finish approval: approve the upholstery, padding reference, antique brass finish, arm/contact parts and seat/back attachment separately. A screen image is a direction reference, not the final production standard.

The standard MOQ is 20 pieces per model. A trial order from 15 pieces may be reviewed only after sales approval. Deep customization normally starts from 100 pieces per design or configuration, and upholstery or finish suppliers may impose separate material minimums.

How We Lock the DC-A17 Before Production

Confirm the brief. Send the model, quantity, split by finish, destination, intended venue, table details and schedule.
Lock the specification. We review upholstery, frame finish, dimensions, labels, packing and required documents.
Approve the sample. A sample is normally about 25 days after material, drawing and finish confirmation; charges and freight are quoted separately.
Release production. The signed drawing, approved materials, physical samples and packing specification become the order reference.
Inspect and pack. Dimensions, floor contact, alignment, finish, upholstery, attachment points and packing protection are checked against the order requirements.

Standard production is about 30 days after deposit and final specification approval. New materials, colors or structural customization normally require about 35–45 days. Shipping, customs clearance and destination delivery are outside production lead time.

QC, Packing and Documentation Priorities

Inspection focus

  • Overall dimensions and 46 cm seat height.
  • Visible wobble and floor contact on a level inspection surface.
  • Seat, back and arm alignment.
  • Visible joint, weld, fastener and attachment appearance against the approved standard.
  • Upholstery seams, surface condition and batch consistency.
  • Finish color, sheen and protected contact points.

Packing focus

  • Protect arms, back, legs and finished surfaces.
  • Use a protective export carton, EPE foam and corner protection.
  • Add separators, wrapping, pallets or crates only when the approved logistics plan requires them.
  • Confirm carton size, weight, CBM and loading quantity after packing approval.

Testing and destination market

The current package does not contain a model-linked load, durability, stability, fire, corrosion or outdoor report. Relevant EN, ANSI/BIFMA or third-party requirements can be reviewed according to the exact configuration, destination and venue. For European or UK indoor non-domestic seating, BS EN 16139:2025 may be relevant within its scope. For United States public, restaurant or dining seating, ANSI/BIFMA X5.4-2020 (R2025) may be relevant. Naming a standard is not a statement that DC-A17 has passed it.

Care and Maintenance

Follow the instructions for the approved upholstery code. Blot spills promptly, test cleaners on a hidden area and do not assume an unspecified cover tolerates strong chemicals. Clean the metal finish with a soft cloth, keep it dry and avoid abrasive pads. Inspect floor-contact parts, visible fasteners and seat/back attachment points during routine venue maintenance.

Can the DC-A17 be used outdoors?

We specify the current page for indoor use. The available records do not support permanent rain, UV, coastal, poolside or all-weather claims.

What are the MOQ and production time?

The standard MOQ is 20 pieces per model. Trial orders from 15 pieces require sales approval. Deep customization normally starts from 100 pieces per design or configuration. Standard production is about 30 days after deposit and final approvals; customized production normally requires about 35–45 days.

Can you provide EN or BIFMA documentation?

YeZhi Furniture can review the applicable test or documentation route according to the exact product configuration, destination and project requirement. A matching report scope must be confirmed before any pass or certification statement is used.
