Height & Fit
Quick answer: counter-stool seats are commonly planned around 60–68 cm / 23.6–26.8 in. A useful starting difference between the seat and counter top is about 25–32 cm / 9.8–12.6 in, but the final fit must also account for the lowest underside obstruction.
